The UP B.Ed was conducted on 09th August 2020 at various centers spread across the state.This time, the examination was conducted by Lucknow University on August 9. A total of 3,57,696 candidates had appeared for B Ed joint entrance exam at 1,089 examination centres in 73 districts of UP. UP B.ED JEE 2020 Notification

UP B.Ed JEE is a state level examination which is conducted by Lucknow University every year for the admission in B.Ed course in the various colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Every year different universities conduct this offline entrance test and this year in 2020, Lucknow University will be conducting the exam. According to the latest information released by Lucknow University (source Amarujala), the entrance exam scheduled to be conducted on 9th August 2020. Earlier the exam was supposed to be conducted on 8th April 2020, which was postponed to 22 April 2020, now that the lockdown has been lifted, the University of Lucknow has now decided to conduct the UP BEd JEE 2020 entrance exam.

The number of exam centers will be doubled from 900 to 1900 to ensure proper social distancing among the students during the examination. Following this, the application correction window, especially for candidates who might want to change their exam center was also extended until 19th June 2020. UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Eligibility criteria

• Candidates belonging to General and Other Backward Class (OBC) should clear graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks.
• Candidates with a BE/B.Tech degree having Mathematics and Science as main subjects should secure at least 55% aggregate marks.
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) category should clear graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university. However, there is no criterion for minimum marks.

UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted in an offline mode in two shifts, one in the morning and the second one in the evening. Both Paper-1 and Paper-2 consist of 200 Objective type Questions. Each paper is completed in 3 hours which add ups to 6 hours of total time. There are four sections divided into 2 sections in each paper.

  • Total Marks : 200 for each Papers
  • Each Question carry 2 marks
  • Negative Marking :1/3 marks
  • Paper will be in 2 Parts.
  • Part-1 is compulsory for all

B.Ed JEE  Admit Card 2020

The admit cards had been released on the official website and the candidates can download their UP B.Ed JEE 2020 Admit Card from there only, as admit cards won’t be sent via post or any other medium. To enter the examination hall on the day of the exam, the candidate must carry the admit card and proof of identity along with him/her.
